If I look in admin-> project administration -> defaults, I appear to be able to set fields to be "visible" or not visible there. I use this to turn off various fields (I have done that many releases ago).
If I then try Issues-> New issue, or click an existing issue to edit it, I would expect these fields not to be visible, but they are all shown.
I can't remember if this was a problem before 1.6.313, but with the new big-font style it's particularly in your face as there is a lot of screen space taken up by these fields which we don't use.
I tried making the fields visible, then invisible again to get rid of them, but that doesn't work. I guess I can take them out by tweaking the theme, although the field IDs are ASP.NET so fairly hard to target that way.
