Burndown

For those who are not familiar, a burn down chart is a graphical representation of work left to do versus time. Below is a screenshot of how the burn down chart looks in BugNET.

For all of the current reports, you can choose the milestone, start date and end date for the report generation allowing you to narrow or widen the scope of the data to suit your needs.

The burn down report leverages the time tracking features of BugNET heavily to display its data. Issue estimation is used for the hours of effort remaining in conjunction with the time logged on an issue.

Time Logged

The time logged report, shows an overview of how many hours have been logged by project member over a milestone and date range. This report is useful for billing purposes and tracking developers or other project members time on the project. In the screenshot below, the names across the bottom are our test users, not roles.

Milestone Issue Trend

The milestone issue trend report highlights the number of issues accumulated over the course of a milestone. It does this by displaying cumulative open, closed and total active issues for a milestone, and filtered by date range like our other reports.

In the screenshot below, we have an example of an influx of issues (500 oh my!) on September 9th. Also on that day, 237 issues were closed and the black line now reflects the now total active count of issues.

Issues by Priority

The issues by priority report displays issues that are not closed, by priority. This bar chart report can be useful to track the amount of open issues according to their priorities at the end of a milestone.
